With IU's digital signage system powered by Poppulo Cloud technology, marketing professionals and event coordinators can promote marketing campaigns and information awareness initiatives to a wide variety of audiences such as students, faculty, and staff as well as the general public. Statistics show that digital signage drives greater outreach, engagement, and recall rates, and is highly effective in motivating onlookers to take action when compared to traditional media. Unlike web or email, digital signs "push" their images to a wide variety of locations on 5 (and counting!) campuses across the university in school hallways and foyers, dining halls, lounges and high traffic areas where visitors congregate. The IU digital signage system is managed by UITS Enterprise Systems Team. It is the university's official digital signage solution commonly used by marketing professionals, but units and schools are not required to use it and are welcome to utilize alternative digital signage solutions.
